At TechConnect, we know that real teamwork doesn’t just happen behind screens or in meeting rooms. It happens when we come together with purpose, heart, and a chance to make a difference. That’s exactly what our team did to wrap up the financial year with our EOFY Charity Bike Build.
Charity Bike Build
For one afternoon, the team stepped away from being IT experts, paused our focus on delivering IT innovation, providing end user support from our service desk, and solving complex cloud, data and AI challenges for our customers, and became bike builders instead. This time, instead of supporting businesses with technology concerns, we put our energy into supporting The Pyjama Foundation, creating bikes for kids who deserve a brighter tomorrow.
Values in Action
The Charity Bike Build wasn’t just about assembling wheels and handlebars, it was about living our values of care, collaboration, creativity, clarity, and commitment. Working in teams, our people tackled fun challenges to earn their bike parts, communicated clearly to build the safest, highest-quality bikes possible, and competed with good humour and shared purpose.
The best part? The smiles that followed when the bikes were handed over to bring a little extra joy to children who need it most.
At TechConnect, our mission goes beyond delivering reliable service desk support, driving cloud, data and AI solutions, or pushing the boundaries of IT innovation. It’s about using our skills and culture to make a positive impact wherever we can.
This EOFY Charity Bike Build reminded us that our greatest strength is our people, and when we work together with purpose, we create greater positive impact, too.
